This was a very fun half marathon in Sarasota this past Sunday morning. Temps were chilly (upper 40's) and the with the loss of an hour overnight from Daylight Savings, morning came quickly. Eric Kahl, my Sarasota Triathlon Coach, and I pledged to run the race together at an 8:30 pace and we even shook on it. We ran and ended up finishing together but the running pace was a bit quicker at 8:07. Not a PR for either of us, but it was a lot of fun.
