With the rapid adoption of smartphones, the mobile web presents a real opportunity for businesses who enhance their mobile website presence. Research shows that customers are more likely to search for information about a company first on their mobile devices or smartphones and get turned off if that website isn’t optimized for mobile.

Did you know?
  • U.S. smartphone users will reach 73.3 million by the end of 2011, representing 31 percent of the total mobile user population
  • By 2013, more people will access the web via mobile than desktop
  • According to a June 2011 Manta study, 69 percent of small business owners said that it is important for information about their business to be found easily via a mobile device
  • 61 percent of users called the business and 59 percent visited, after looking up a local business on their smart phone

Karma Marketing + Media offers many mobile features designed specifically for small to mid-sized businesses, including conversion of an existing website to mobile, auto-syncing between a standard website and mobile site, compatibility with all major smartphones, professional-looking mobile site templates, a click-to-call button, mobile maps and directions, and mobile site analytics.

“Michael Given and Jessie Welch at Karma Marketing and Media have raised the bar! I cannot thank them enough for their timely expedition of our web site; thoughtful insights into our business model; and clear, clean, and straightforward appearance of the web site pages. The site just flows. We have had traffic and it is working.

Michael and his team also came through in an emergency to revamp another of our websites for a different project (a movie theater). This was done with great clarity, efficiency, and ease. My manager can easily navigate and change movies as needed. Moreover, of course, the pages are clean, professional, and chic.

Karma has worked around our insane schedule and has been receptive to our ideas. We now have a great package!

I would not hesitate to rely on Karma for any website design or update. This is a group of top notch professionals with an affordable, classy, pithy style. Karma works very well with our dreams and ideas and has been a joy to have on our team. Thanks Michael and Jessie.”

A regular website is usually designed for viewing on a desktop computer. When a regular website is viewed on a smaller mobile device, the user experience isn't that great because certain elements from the site might not appear or function optimally.

Mobile friendly sites solve this problem by creating a version of the website that specifically designed to look great on all mobile phones. In addition, mobile websites may also include features that take advantage of the advanced capabilities of a mobile phone such as a click-to-call button (when clicked, places a call) and a mobile maps button (when clicked, shows directions to your address).
